vertical flame back. I have no idea what the wood is...possibly cedar?

resonantsound with plenty of power!

This is a rare, hand-made violin...a fine example of
the luthier arts. It is itself a work of art...that plays like a
dream.I\'ve addedquitea few detailed photographs

violin by an American violin-maker.

This is an excellent violin with a beautiful,powerfulsound in my
opinion.Ifyou\'re lookingfor a specialinstrument, don\'t pass it up!
CONDITION:This is a nice old unlabeled violin circa the early half of the 20th
century.There areno sound post cracks, no cracks tothe scroll.
I don\'t see any cracks at all. It has some varnish loss as you
wouldexcpect of an antique violin that was clearly much loved
andmuch played.I\'ve posted many large photos which arepart
of the description. Sold as isfroman estate containingmany
fine18th,19thand20th centuryinstruments.As an estateviolin
itmaybenefit fromhaving fresh setupa generalrefreshing. It
is clearlyplayableas you can hearinthe videosound sample.
It is sold here as is, as it was found. As such there is .There is NO case. No Bow. I\'ll ship it in an older
case forsafety,but it deserves a newer case.This violin is being offered here at sale. I start all my
