So I emailed this seller and inquired if this was the OLD or NEW version of the Alvin Pencil. He assured me that it was the older version that they had purchased in bulk back in 2020. I then promptly ordered one and they promptly shipped me the NEW cheaper version.
However once I notified them of the issue they did send me the correct version at no charge. So in the end the problem was rectified.

We did NOT lie to the customer. We did purchase the OLD version back in 2020 and that's the only version we sell. But, the customer is correct that he received the NEW version. We discovered that our Fulfillment Warehouse was commingling inventory from us and from another Seller. This issue is being corrected.
Also, we issued a FULL refund to the customer as soon as we noticed this issue and also offered to ship an old version pencil to him at no cost.

So it appears that their fulfillment system may have been at fault with what happened with this order. They did promptly refund me my money and I shipped the NEW model back.

The pencils did not come well packaged to protect. 1 pencil with broken tip. 1 pencil (white) crack in the wood. I am in doubt they are original ?

Unless specifically noted in the listing, what we sell in NEW condition was bought by us and sold in NEW condition. We we only sell GENUINE products. We store our inventory at our warehouse but also use other fulfillment warehouses. Some products get damaged in transit, others in handling at their warehouse. This happens from time to time.
Additionally, as a courtesy we have offered to issue a full refund on this order but the Buyer has not replied to our emails.
