Glad that the item was well protected with bubble wrap to prevent damages. After watching the delivery guy dropped the box at my door from a 3 feet drop distance and causing the box to roll like dice a few times I thought that the item was going to be dead on arrival, thanks to the bubble wrap protection the item and a headache was prevented.     Dell Precision T5400 Workstation 875W Power Supply GM869 and Wire Harness YN945

    Supply was a used direct replacement for my existing supply. Jury is still out on value, as it is not known how long it will last, as design is same as its predecessor. I didn't use the YN945 harness, as I just replace the supply and used my existing harness rather than risk damage by unplugging all the peripherals and plugging in to new harness. I did some research and Dell has an alternate model with same form, fit, and function, but I haven't seen any of these for sale in the aftermarket. I would like to see a 3rd party 875W to 1000W supply that with which the YN945 "modular" harness is compatible.

    Fixed an old machine

    had to switch out the power supply as the old one was giving weird issues, with powering up. Random restarts, non-start, etc. Now with the new power supply unit, it boots up as expected.
