Vintage J. Walton Blount aluminum vending machine. It operates well each time with a nickel. This machine is basically a Columbus vendor with some modifications. Many of the parts have the same part numbers as Columbus vendors. It uses a cast iron base plate that is held in place with a bolt under the mechanism. The mechanism is also held together with a bolt. I use needle nose pliers to unscrew this bolt. These were usually taken back to the factory each time they were out of product, taken apart and polished before returning to the route. The glass globe is very nice along the top and bottom edges with original decals. It has a few scratches in the glass as shown in the last picture, minor issue. The aluminum top and body are still pretty nice, the body has some slight pitting in thealuminum around the bottom edge. Overall a good machine. I will remove the glass and pack it separately.
