LARGE BLUE DECORATED GREENSBORO, PA STONEWARE CROCK by HAMILTON & JONESMint Condition - Both Stencil & Freehand Designs This is a wonderful large blue decorated stoneware crock by Hamilton & Jones from Greensboro, Pennsylvania, circa 1830 to 1850s, or so. Crock is 15 1/4" high with a 9" diameter base, and it has 2 applied handles. The decoration is very full and covers the entire front of the crock, and it employs both stencil and freehand designs, as pictured. I can find on chips, cracks, discolorations, scaling, or flaws of any kind, and there is no restoration. I find very few of these Greensboro pieces living in New England.
