Large Pre 1950’s Zuni Warrior Katsina Kachina Doll large 17 1/2” tall.Large Pre 1950\'s Zuni warrior Kachina Katsina Doll. Originally purchased on a trip to the southwest states in 1950. One of five dolls of various sizes purchased from state.
Wonderful old, assume1930-40s era 17 1/2” tall, 5” wide at the shoulders with out the base it is 16 1/2” tall. Excludes feathers, hand carved and hand painted cottonwood root Hopi or Zuni Kachina / Katsina figure doll. A wonderful old palate of colors showing a wonderful aged patina and decoration detail.

Condition is best described via photos with no damage, repairs, or missing bits. Some bits of paint loss and wear, feathers dusty and deteriorating. Originally it was hanging with fish line that is still attached around the neck later a styrofoam base was added to let the doll stand on it’s own.
