LARGE VINTAGE PERSIAN SILVER WINE COOLER CELLARET PLANTER EMBOSSED ROSES  

This very attractive wine cooler/ bottle stand or possibly planter dates from the mid/late 20th century, and is Persian in its origins. I can find no hallmarks or makers marks, so selling as silver plated, or possibly really low grade silver.

A very large decorative piece, with embossed rose’s pattern, gadrooned rim, standing on four lions paw feet. In very nice original lightly used condition, needs a good polish, but as photos show displays superbly. It measures approximately 20 inches/ 51 cm in length from handle to handle; 11 inches/ 28 cm wide from foot to foot, stands 8 inches/ 20 cm in height, and weighs 2.5 kilos.
