Fantastic Mid Century Los Castillo Taxco Sterling Silver hand wrought serving tray/platter! This gorgeous long sculptural tray is marked with the Los Castillo Hecho En Mexico Sterling Lion/15 pre-dating it 1970 - my clients travelled to visit family is Taxco as early as the 1940\'s-1970\'s. This is one of the last pieces I\'ll be listing. This tray measures 20 1/2\" long x 4 1/4\". Rosewood handle. Curled Sterling finish to the tip/end. I note faint light superficial marks consistent with age/use and storage. I also note & clearly photograph for your perusal the two equal bends on each side near the handle. I\'m thinking a jewelry/silversmith could even these out if this bothers you. Completely handwrought and it shows lovely hand hammered areas throughout. Completely marked. It weighs 383 grams!
