I traded some old U.S. coins for this at an antique dealer in around 1975. She had other items that were her families heirlooms, one of which was this and frontier style leather pouch. Both of them were purchased for her Father by his parents as they came through Needles, CA on train in approx 1875 at the \"Harvey Trading Post\" (This is what was on the leather pouch). She told me it was \"100 Years ago\" (so since it was 1975 when I traded for this, I assume the age of this item to be approx 1875). I was unable to find out very much about these dolls as there is very little information available online. The condition of the doll is as you see in the photos, the baby on the back of the female is loose but completely locked in place by the mother\'s arms (will not fall off).
