*Up for sale here is quite the handsome looking blob top beer bottle from the Wood County city of Parkersburg, West Virginia. This bottle is very scarce and in near mint plus sparkling clean condition as seen here. This particular version is not listed in Bruce Mobley\'s beer bottle site. This example is in the pint size and in the blue aqua colored glass. Bottle has barely any wear, as this is only on the back side and almost invisible. It has a somewhat long intact trapped bubble within the glass as seen here off to the right side of the embossing. This old beer looks to have never been buried and is an \"attic find\", so to speak. It has the Baltimore Loop closure groove in the blob top as seen here. The glass has no chips, is problem free, and has never been pro cleaned in any way. The embossing on this bottle is very bold, well defined and crisp. It reads open face in a circular pattern ~ \"PARKERSBURG / BOTTLING CO. / PBCo (fancy intertwined monogram) / PARKERSBURG, W.VA.\" On the lower reverse heel it carries the ~ \"E H E CO\" glass house initials. This stands for the \"Edward H. Everett Glass Co.\" The old base is unmarked. The clarity of the glass is better than most. This pre pro hand blown pint beer bottle measures 9 1/2 inches tall, and 2 3/4 inches in diameter across the base. It also has the hand finished tooled blob top finish. You will be very well pleased with this top shelf example here from West Virginia.
