ORIGINAL PHILLIPINE INSURECTION MORO BORONG SHORT SWORD FROM NAVY CAPTAIN
Price: US $191.38
Here is an item that is out of my league, I think that this is an early Moro Borong short sword from the Phillipine Insurection era after the Spanish American war that was from an estate sale and the story was it was owned or from a Navy Captain and brought back as a war trophy. Overall length is 25\", blade shows age but still has a nice edge, hilt is half tooled brass with the top a light colored carved hardwood, scabbard 2 piece wood carved wrapped in cloth strips, at the sale I did find an early 1900\'s envelope addressed to a Capt. Hartford, Commandant of the Cavite Naval Station which is included. Buyer pays $13 for shipping. Sales only to the United States
