This is a pretty nice original Splitdorf Model S two cylinder magneto for an early Indian motorcycle or other application. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind other than some solder on one of the the lead out studs and mismatched clamps on the distributor cap. It is also missing one screw that holds the original magnet cover on. The magnet cover is brass and would polish up very nicely. It is a base mount magneto and mounts on a 2 inch square bolt pattern. The mounting threads are in perfect condition. This magneto is clockwise rotation and turns over nicely with excellent magnetic pull. There is no noticeable wear in the bearings. The housing, base, and distributor cap are all in excellent condition! This magneto puts out a hot, FAT, blue spark that is sure to run your engine if it is set up properly. It\'s ready to go to work on a motorcycle or on the shelf for a spare. These magnetos are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets and usually require several hundred dollars worth of repair work! Not this one. They\'re not making these anymore so if you need one for a project don\'t miss your chance on this one. The pictures tell the story. You won\'t be disappointed in any way. Good Luck.
