Size: Blade length is10-3/16\", with an overall length of 15-1/16\".
Description: Up for sale is a U.S. WWI heavy bolo knife for use by machine gun and artillery crews to clear vegetation when setting-up their equipment. The heavy blade is made of steel, wood grips with finger grooves and the scabbard is made of wood covered with thick khaki duck canvas with a leather tip. Bolo knives made by Springfield Armory have exacting military tolerances compared to other manufacturers that are labeled C.T. (Commercial Tolerance).
Condition: This U.S. WWI bolo knife is in \"Good\" to \"Very Good\' condition. There are no major damages, losses orworn materials. Please see ourphotographs for further details, and check out our response and other items.
