Original World War II British Army Airborne Denison Smock made by Rephayne Garments Ltd Dated 1942. Size 7 (Height 6\'0\"/6\'2\" Breast 39\"/41\"). Used, but clean and in good condition. Cuffs are a bit worn, but still very serviceable and one snap is missing from the size adjustment flap on the bottom edge.
Features include 4 snap closure flap pockets in front, single button epaulets, wool lined collar, quarter zip front closure and a \"beavertail\" that fastens to one of three sets of snaps inside the front of the smock, under the wearer\'s crotch to keep the jacket from riding up during parachute operations, vented armpits and sweater style cuffs. Note: while not in use, the beavertail on this smock was pinned inside the smock with a safety pin (not sure if that\'s period correct or not, but that is how this one is rigged).
