Vintage Pocher 1931 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Monza 1/8 scale kit in original sealed packaging.
I personally purchased this particular kit (in addition to other Pocher model kits) back in the early 1970\'s from Kmart, for those familiar with this history. From that time on, I kept this kit and the others stored indoors in air-conditioned space where they spent years occupying the top shelves of several closets. In moving to my third home, one of the professional moving company\'s dimmer bulbs felt it necessary to write my name and otherwise mark the outer shrinkwrap of some models, this one included, with a black marker pen. I have not tried to remove this writing for fear of damaging the original clear shrinkwrap that protects the box. As can be seen in one of the photos, this shrinkwrap has opened at the seam at one corner of the kit box. The kit box itself is in very good condition with only some slight abrasions at some of the corners. If this kit were to be presented as a gift, removal of the outer shrinkwrap would yield a very presentable clean box and, for those familiar with these models, the inner box\'s Pocher-brand sealing tape guarantees this to be a complete untouched kit.
