Fine and very rare Georgian rose gold memento Mori mourning ring.
Engraved to the reverse
\'MH died 12th March 1783 aged 29\'
The front is glazed with engraved gold border to a coffin containing a skull with rose cut dimond eyes and crossed bones over the initials MH.
The top of the ring measures 1\" long.
 Weighs 5.8 grams.
Light wear to the glass cover and there has been a ring sizing to the back of the shank. No hallmarks but tests as around 15 carat gold.
