Offering an amazing antique DF Briggs Co. compact. Absolutely gorgeous multi-color guilloche boat scene with corner guilloche floral accents. Unusual decorative design on the lid with beautiful hues of blue,purplish-pink and yellow. Lovely lavender guilloche on the back. Ornate engraving. The push-in clasp has a bevel set, deep blue faceted stone. The spring hinged lid flips opens to a reflective mirror with a slight haze. Bright gold wash interior. Powder well with swivel dispenser. Rouge compartment with rouge cake found under the paper product insert. Stamped \"D.F.B CO\" under the mirror. The hinge and clasp are in proper working order. No chips or breaks in the guilloche, a few minor scratches noted upon very close inspection [not obvious]. Measures 2.25 inches square. This compact istruly a gem!
