Hello buyers. Up for offer today is a truly spectacular platter by Royal Worcester with a beautiful decoration of flamingos that was hand painted by Walter Powell. This platter has the date code mark of 1912. The platter is signed to the lower right W Powell as well as the Worcester mark to the back. The decoration on this piece is superb with an atmospheric setting with three flamingos in a marsh. The acid etch border is known as Quaker Grey Acid etch. It measures 10 1/2" by 7 7/8". It is free from any chips, the only issue with this platter is there are some small scratches in the field of the plate on the left hand marsh. Please see the photos, these are very small and do not detract in my opinion. Platters like these are very hard to come across and do not come up for sale very often and this is the last one I have!
