Measures 11\" tall,looks to be about 1 gallon in capacity.Scratched on the front:BLESSTHISHOUSEBottom is an open hole with a small protruding hole on the side. This jug was placed on a shallow pan and thewater was filled from the top lipand the jug corked. It is albany slip with salt glaze on the shoulder. Found many years ago in the very small town ofLineville Alabama. A true piece of folk art for the smart collector! (more vintage pottery now listed!)
