Up for sale is a vintage 1940s Shawnee GOLD SHAMROCKS COOKIE JAR marked USA on the bottomThis cookie jar in near mint condition. There are no chips, cracks or crazing that I can see or feel. The only flaws are pinpricks on the gold buttons which you can clearly see in the pictures. There is a paint miss on his cheek which is under the glaze. Green Scarf and Shamrocks on the front and back, GOLD Buttons on the front and back and GOLD Trim on the feet and stomach.
