sale is for a reproduction ‘Smilin Sam From Alabam’ 1cent peanut machine. Manufactured by thePrince Mfg Co. This is manufactured fromaluminum castings and is a very high quality reproduction.

Just inset a penny, pull the tongue and candy is dispensedinto the palm of your hand.

I purchased this new six or eight years ago and havedecided to sell as I no longer have room to display this neat vendingmachine. I originally installed candy inthe machine and used it as a decorative item/vending machine in the kitchen.

I believe these were reproduced in the 1990’s and early2000’s, but I cannot confirm. I alsobelieve that they are no longer being manufactured so they are becoming verycollectible. I know they were offered indifferent colors but I believe the red color displays the best.

There are a couple small scratches in the paint butoverall it is still in excellent condition.

10 ½” wide x 11” deep x 13 ½” tall.

Originals typically sell in the $3,000 range; howeverthese reproductions are relatively inexpensive.

Can be used as a decorative item or as a vendingmachine/candy dispenser.

Stamped in the back of the casting is ‘05232 Prince MfgCo Tonawanda, NY’. Also included are thetwo original key Chicago Lock keys #H1839.The bottom casting is marked ‘General Merchandiser Inc Chicago’.
