About this sale: This slide comes from the vast railroad and transit slide & negative collection of my deceased father, Howard J. Wayt (1935-1998). The majority of the slides date to the 1960s and 1970s. Many images were taken by my father, but many others were bought from other collectors/photographers.

Most of the slides mounts include information about the date, location, photographer, if it is a duplicate, etc. I will provide this information when available. Otherwise, I will leave the space blank.

About the Scans: No color correction/restoration has been applied to the scan. They are shown as they actually are. Many of these images be made far more attractive than shown by using image editing software. However, I think it is best to represent them as they actually are.

The images you are seeing are scanned at a low resolution of 150 dpi, and the scanner automatically crops the edges of the image slightly, often cutting off closely framed images (in other words, the actual image is larger than you are seeing).

Before scanning, I quickly dust the slides, which often does not remove all of the dust/lint fromsurface of the film. Thus, such bits of dust/lint can be seen in the images. I don\'t have time to examine every scan for such before posting, butIf you have concern about a specific sale, I will be happy to examine the slide for you.

NEW SHIPPING POLICY:Due to recent excessive slide losses at the hands of the Post Office, all packages will now feature tracking. As a result, the base price of my shipping in the US is now $2.50 for the first slide and $0.25 for each additional slide. If you have special shipping requests (such as \"signature confirmation\" or others), please write me and I will do my best to accommodate. Due to the large number of packages I sent, it may not always be possible. But I will try my best.
