This lot comes from one estate. It is one lot of a few military lots from this individual I am offering, including an IMPORTANT LEATHER MILITARY Gaucho Belt Style, BUTTON BELTwith numerous important military buttons from all countries! Be sure to check that out!
It includes the original dog tags, which are markedwith individuals name, then Co B 5th, M. GBN Second Div. U.S.A and on the back is stamped A.E.F No 107489. The Photograph was taken in Jacksonville Florida. The most important medal, in my opinion is the Philippine Insurrection Medal, which is numbered on theedge. It says M No 6545 on the edge of the medal. On the back it says United States Army, For Service. There is a second For service medal with the light green and Yellow striped ribbon. This is numbered what looks like a 7 which is weak, then 134, or 7134. This medal has the sword and the US eagle on the obverse. The other medals are Veterans medals,or Veterans of ForeignWars, the most colorful of course is the one with the flag type ribbon and bars, which is Spanish War Veteran, 1898 1902. This medal is more elaborate than some I have seen in the past. Then there is a Veterans of Foreign Wars, and an American Legion Veterans medal. In the same lot is a medal from WWI, with service bars in metal. It is not numbered or named, but I suspect belongs to the same individual. Also are his medical patches, and a fifty Centavos, Filipinas United State of America Silver occupational coin. The last and important piece is the Canteen. This has survived in remarkably good condition. It is most likely the same canteen which is pictured though that one had an embellishment. Description: We do not know the age of these Some old and some newer you Decide. They are being sold as pictured. Please look at the pictures. The pictures are my description.
