Make: Springfield Armory

Model / Type / Description: This bayonet is a Springfield Armory Model 1905 with scabbard. This bayonet will fit a Springfield Model 1903 rifle. The blade is marked \"SA\"/flaming bomb/\"1911.\" The other side is marked \"US\"/\"501813.\" The scabbard is unmarked but it seems to look like a Model 1910 Type 2. The blade measures about 15 3/4 inches and measures about 20 1/2 inches in overall length. The sheath measures about 17 1/2 inches in length.

Condition: The bayonet has a few chips on the edge of the blade. The blade has a few small areas of light rust and pitting. The handle does not have any major cracks or areas of damage. The scabbard has a leather tip and canvas body. The scabbard has very little wear and strong stitching. Please view photos to see more details.
