During our research we have been informed it certainly dates from the 19th century.

Standing pig figure, known as the Trusty Servant.
Portrayed wearing clothing of breeches and coat.
Holds a shield with a coat of arms in his hand, his other hand to his waist.
A padlock to his mouth.
Mounted onto the decorative hollow base.
It has an overall height of about 8.75inches.
It has an overall size underneath of about 3 x 2.75inches.
Max dia of about 4.5inches.
Condition: Considering the age, the overall condition is excellent and is not subject to:
any major blemishes except:
early restoration to the rear edge of the shield and
the remounting of the ears.
