Superb Georgian 18ct gold snake ring set with large faceted amethyst.
18ct gold shank which is unmarked - this is not unusual for the age of the piece & I have had it electronically tested for 18ct gold purity just to be sure. I would estimate the amethyst to be in the region of 4ct.
In excellent condition for its age there is no damage or repairs, I would say it needs a light clean as I leave all my jewellery in untouched original condition.
Weight 5.7g - amethyst measures approx 9mm x 12mm
