I\'m selling a beautiful tin friction Mercedes Benz Universe Racer made by Yonezawa of Japan. The racer measures 9 3/4 inches or 25 centimeters long and it is complete and all original. This is a splendid, large Mercedes Benz race car with a friction motor that works very well. The litho is in great shape and the surface of the tin has a great gloss. The paint is in terrific condition with a few minor scratches and chips. There are a couple of tiny silver paint touchups on one side of the car; one of the hubcaps also has a little paint touchup. The chrome trim is in wonderful condition, bright and shiny and the windshield \"glass\" is original as well. This is a beautiful tin friction racer in terrific condition. The last photo shows the race car as pictured on page 198 of the great Big Book of Tin Toy Cars Commercial and Racing Vehicles.
