Kracov TINKER BELL Lantern Limited Edition Sculpture
An incarcerated Tinker Bell plots her escape from a lantern in this captivating art piece, an exclusive in a LIMITED EDITION of only 125 sculptures. You can see the signature and number in a picture below...it's mine...yours will only be opened for inspection before shipping. Created by noted animation artist David Kracov, the piece — whose lantern features a hinged hatch with a magnetic clasp — was originally hand sculpted in clay, then cast in a compound of marble and resin and hand painted.

About the artist: Animation sculptor David Kracov has developed his passion for film, special effects and animation into a career of sculpting characters for the country's most prominent movie studios, as well as creating unique, one-of-a-kind original sculptures for private collectors.
Originally from Boston, Kracov received degrees from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design before moving to California to begin his career in special effects animation, working for such notable names as Ralph Bakshi, Walt Disney Feature Animation and Don Bluth Studios. During this time, Kracov discovered a passion for sculpting animated characters, creating the maquettes that served as three-dimensional references for the animators working on each production.
In 1994, David started Kracov Creations Inc. Around that time, The Walt Disney Studios commissioned him to create sculptures of individual characters as well as chess sets for the Walt Disney Art Galleries, Disneyland, Walt Disney World and Tokyo Disneyland.
Until 1996, David personally hand-sculpted each individual piece of an edition. However, due to the demand for his sculptures and the time involved in creating each piece, David has limited his one-of-a-kind original sculptures to private commissions only, although he still designs and sculpts every piece in his collections.
