I am no authority on military items. I picked this vintage cap along with several other 19th Century Western Americana pieces. I have no idea if this is original or reproduction. I only know it is OLD. Small size doesn\'t fit on my head. I\'m guessing it\'s 6 7/8 by what\'s left on one of the tags. There are two tags (pictured); one is an old union tag. I have no idea how old. Nice adornments.
