This is an interesting vanity or dresser top silverplated compactin the form ofa chariot. It is marked and numbered on the bottom 699 or 966 and it looks like there is a W plus something else as seen in the last 2 photos, hard to read.It contains a powder puff, a rouge puff, a red lipstick and what looks like a tube of mascara that is stuck inside on the top. It is 4 7/8\" by 2 3/4\" at the widest at the top and stands just under 3 3/4\" high. Condition is very good with some plate loss as seen in the photos but the lid is off. Maybe someone can repair it, don\'t know.An unusual compact that makes a nice display piece with compacts or even jewelry boxes.
