This necklace has a rich color due to the color of the glass which was made to simulate Carnelian. The glass has a classical Art Deco step design with ridges at the surface of the glass that gives it extra depth and sparkle. There is a small chip at the corner of the pendant (which you can see in a photo) and there are no other chips to the glass. The glass has smooth surfaces that gleam and crisp edges. The brass has a golden patina with very little darkening or discoloration. Overall this is a striking and richly colored, Art Deco glass step necklace, that was made in Czechoslovakia during the 1930’s that is in Very good condition.
