This piece is unique for its graduating square shaped links and the color of the glass which is made to simulate Amethyst. The glass is open at the back and faceted on both sides for the maximum amount of light and refraction. The pendants are fairly thin and flat at the back so the necklace lays very flush along your neck when worn. There are a few small chips to to the corners of the glass and some surface wear to the glass, it dulls the refraction a bit, but its a modest amount and the necklace is still fresh looking. The brass setting has a little bit of darkening but still has a golden patina. Overall this is a sparkling and colorful, Art Deco Amethyst glass necklace, that was made in Czechoslovakia during the 1930\'s that is in very good condition.
