The cabinet was designed by John Vassos (a famous industrial designer of the period) before World War Two, but WWII got in the way of production, so this fabulous TV design had to wait until RCA was ready to unveil their first line-up of post war sets, and these were marketed by RCA Victor for only a few months in 1946! This small wooden table top cabinet, was the smallest RCA Victor 1946 model, the 621-TS, with only around 15,000 ever produced and possibly only a hundred remaining .
