Areally cool, rare perfume vending machine from the past.

MercuryTool. released 2 different machines under this trade name, starting in 1947.

Thisis a 1950\'s Perfumatic perfume dispensing machine. These dispensers were placedin various “powder rooms” (movie theaters, gas stations) for a quick mist ofperfume. Ten cents a spray. There are four different bottles which were filledup with different perfumes or colognes. It\'s a very simple machine where theplunger actually uses the dime to press the dispensing piston to vend a sprayof perfume. It has four original Perfumatic bottles. However, the one on theend has become detached. The bottles screw on to the spray nozzle. It has two keysand 10 original labels. Those labels are Aphrodisia, Black Satin, Breathless, Tabu,Sortilege, Shalimar, 20 Carats, Tweed, Chanel, Crown Jewel, (They also sold Lavendar,Woodhue, Chantilly, Stradivari, and Mitsouko). The label holders and originalscrews are in a zip lock bag they go into the holes on the front surface. There are also screws to attached it to thewall (not original screws). The machine is in fair condition, for being overfifty years old. It has scratches, paint rubbed off in places, your normalware. There are pictures with the back off to show the insides.

Themarks on the back black plate are from wall paper that adhered to the metalsurface when it was taken down off a wall. The cardboard tray box is insidewith a dime, as are the: perfume names, names plates, mounting screws (not original). Andtwo key in a zip-lock bag, only one goes to this machine. Yes it does lock

There is paint missing from each side, some left to packing tape, some from wear.

Inside one of the perfume bottles on the far side isdetachedfrom the pumpingmechanism. One pump is missing its crew and nuts.

Weighs approximatly 30 lbs. The dimensions are 9.5\" deep x18\" long x 17.\"high
