You are offerding on an absolutely gorgeous, vintage Philco Seventeener III portable, \'briefcase\' television set. The Seventeener III was the last of the Seventeener series, introduced in 1959. It is in beautiful condition with no cracks in the body and the leather strap handle is strong and intact. I purchased this unit from the collection of an old man who spent his life repairing televisions. He said that he believed it was in working condition when stored years ago, but I see that there is a piece of tape on the back that says \"Missing 17DQ6\". The 17DQ6 tube is a common power tube that can be found readily on for about $5. Thus said, I have not attempted to power up this television and it is sold as-is, working or not. I encourage you to pick the television up in the SF bay area as it is large, heavy, and fragile, but I am also willing to pack the set securely and ship WORLDWIDE.
