Up for sale is a very unique and rare 1959 RCA Victor color television set.  This model is known as \"The Corinthian\", model # 210CK936 and it uses the CTC-9 chassis.  The overall condition of this TV is very nice.  The cabinet is made of quality hardwoods and veneers.  The condition of the cabinet is very good and presents itself well, only minor imperfections and marks throughout as can be expected of a 55 year old piece of furniture.  It was in a dry home and never in a basement.This TV is typical late 1950\'s modern styling with front swing open doors.  This was one of RCA\'s highest end consoles in 1959.  All original labels and tags are still present on the back cover and easily legible still.  The chassis and components are 100% intact which includes the original RCA 21CYP22 CRT.  The CRT tests STRONG on ALL three guns from a cold start using a Sencore CR-70 CRT tester.  The reading as shown on the CRT tester is typical for all three color guns, thus, all guns track well.  I have powered the set up, it does produce high voltage and good powerful high fidelity audio is heard through the speakers.  The audio quality is impressive with deep bass and crisp trebles.  See pics of the original speaker set up.  The screen lights up and I get a good snowy raster.  If I tune in a station, the signal is received but there is a horizontal sync issue.  I have not attempted any electronic restoration to the set.  As you can see, it\'s got all good things going for it; a good CRT and a good flyback.  With those two alone, this TV has much potential and probably won\'t take much to get it back to 100%.  The TV weighs approx. 200 lbs.  Its dimensions are as follows:  47\" long, 25\" deep (add an additional 4\" for the CRT cap on back), and 32\" high.  Due to the age of this TV, it is sold AS-IS, no warranty, no return.  Local pick up only in Downers Grove, IL, about 20 miles west of Chicago.  The TV must be picked up within 14 days of sale close unless an agreement is made prior to sale close.  Buyer is encouraged to pay cash at time of pick up to avoid unnecessary PayPal fees.  buyers outside of the USA must contact me prior to offerding to discuss your intended plan and shipping method.  Thank you.
