This necklace does not have a maker signature however the design and construction is consistent with pieces made by Jakob Bengel. This piece has a full profile, vibrant red color with two drops that dangle freely giving the necklace a lot of movement and sway when worn. The plastic at the bottom of the dangles is a slightly different shade of red than the rest of the necklace and this appears to be original to the piece and not from wear or age to the plastic. The plastic has a nice sheen with very little surface wear and the same for the Chrome. Overall this is a finely designed and colorful, Art Deco machine age necklace, made in Germany by Jakob Bengel during the 1930’s that is in Very good condition.
