Material Brass, Glass
This necklace has a vibrantly colored glass pendant that is made to simulate Aquamarine and is in a striking and unique shape. The glass is open at the back to allow the light to refract and shimmer. There are no chips to the glass, there are a few tiny“flaws”to the glass that are actually at the center of the glass which you can see at the front. There is a bit of surface wear to the smaller stones in the chain and at the top of the pendant, they don’t sparkle quite as bright as they would have originally. The delicate chain has a detailed enameled design that has some fading and chipping and is maybe 60-70% intact still. The brass setting has some spots of discoloration and darkening but its a modest amount and the piece still has a golden patina. Overall this is a uniquely designed and colorful, Art Deco glass and enamel necklace, that was made in Czechoslovakia during the 1930’s that is in very good condition.
