Antique Native American Seminole Indian Doll, circa 1900. This rare doll has a carved wood head, hand painted red with carved and painted facial features. It has a carved wood torso with carved wood limbs, attached with hand cut nails and copper wire. The lower limbs are painted red.
The doll has a machine stitched colorful cotton dress and turquoise blue beaded necklace.
The doll measures 8 3/4" tall.
Very good antique condition. Normal aging but no damage, as pictured.

Please be aware that it has come to my attention that this doll dates to the mid-1930s. An expert on these dolls has identified it as being from the 1925-1930 period, based on the style of the doll and the clothing.
