Tinplate Car.

This charming "Joustra" "Auto Miracle Car" tinplate clockwork car is in "as found" condition and has not been repaired or restored by us. It has its key and the clockwork motor works well.

This "Joustra Auto Miracle Car 2002" has multi action movements, the carmoves forward, changes direction, stops,door opens, tinplate driver emerges, bonnet/hood opens and closes, driver goes back in as door closes, andcar continues forward, changes direction and repeats. The antenna works as the stop/go lever.

The bottom of the car is marked "France, Brevete S.G.D.G., Modele Depose 2002, PatentsApplied For In Great-Britain, United States, Canada, Suisse, Belgique, Nederland, Italia, Espana, Czechoslowakia, Polska.Made In France".

The car has retained much of its\' paint work to the body, however there are the usual scuffs and marks you would expect from a toy of this age.The lithographed driver and engine are in good bright condition The chrome work has lost most of its\' original finish.

The car measures 14 cm (5 1/2 inches) long.

This car would make an excellent addition to any collection and brings back some great childhood memories.
