Up for sale is this beautiful VINTAGE WICKER TEAPOT CADDY HANDBAG PURSE with BRASS HANDLES and an ORIENTAL BRASS DESIGN on the top!
I believe these were originally meant to hold a teapot, but now it can be used as a fashionable handbag purse, sewing box, or even as a vanity box to keep your jewelry and or keepsakes.
Beautifully crafted basket weave with 2 brass handles, an ASIAN DESIGN on the top of the bag in a thin brass metal and a a twist barrel brass latch also in an ORIENTAL design.Measurements are approximately 6 1/2 inches high without the handles X 9 1/2 inches across the top X 5 1/2 inches on the sides. Brass handle drop is approximately 5 1/2 inches.
Overall condition is very good. The basket is in excellent vintage condition. The Chinese brass design on the top is tarnished and slightly bent, but not too bad. I think, it could be polished and flattened back. Again overall really very good typical vintage condition. Please refer to my pictures.
