For your inspection, a Rareoriginal fresh Civil War Leather Holster for the 1860 Colt Army Revolver. ThisHolster (~11”) comes with the original Leather Belt (~35”) and Belt Buckle. Theholster is marked E. Gaylord Chicopee, Mass.!!!! The Belt is also Marked nearthe latch, on the back top A.H., back bottom D.H.L. This set came from adedicated collector, from which I was able to acquire another early AmericanMilitary Belt and Belt Buckle, which will be listed along with this one.
There is some crackingand chipping of the outermost layer of the leather as shown in the pictures, itis still supple and soft, not stiff; the top of the flap is also showing signsof wear, though the loop is still intact. The belt has some usage and agedamage as shown in the pictures, it is still holding together well though. Therivets and belt buckle has some oxidation, though nothing out of the ordinary,in fact it is better than I would have thought.
Please only serious collectors. This is a item and deserves to be in a home or museum where it will be appreciated for it\'s significant history.

Please be advised that the Holster is in fact Civil War era. The belt and plate are Indian War era, obviously the Holster was used in both wars. Hope this clears up the hole I left in the listing details.
