This is a beautiful Imari Gilt Porcelain plate or platter with gorgeous design, rich color, gold highlights, and in extremely good condition. It measures over 16 inches long and is 10.5 inches at its widest point.
Part of an estate collection of high quality collectible porcelains, this is a distinctive and wonderfully decorative (and functional) piece.
There is a small chip (1/4\") on the underneath corner of the tail; which was difficult to photograph. It does not show from the top.
