Fine Italian 14k filigree gold mounted carved shell portrait cameo of a young woman. Beautifully done cameo in a very pretty setting. Measures 37mm x 30mm and has a gross weight of 7.4 grams. Has both a locking pinback fastener for wear as a brooch and a bale(3.5mm opening) for wear on a chain necklace as a pendant. The cameo is in very nice condition with no damage to shell or gold and only modest wear. Stamped K14 along with Italian National registry mark used post 1968. Enlarge all pics for best details.
