Wonderful Rare (Hard To Find) Vintage Linemar (Line Mar) MARX (Japan) Tin Litho Toy Friction Motorcycle (Vehicle) ~ Walt Disney's Donald Duck, Disneyana
- Wonderful Tin Litho Friction Motorcycle Toy w/Separate Tin Litho Head Attached with original black rubber guiding tires/wheels in back. Made in Japan, circa-1950's. This series also included Pluto and Mickey Mouse as well.
- One side is marked: "CR Line Mar Co., Inc." -and- "Line Mar Toys, Japan."
- One side is marked: "CR Walt Disney Productions."
- Measures approx. 1-inch by 3 1/2 inches, by 3 1/4 inches is Used &overall *Very Good* (AS IS) - [this charming vintage toy is in greatcondition considering its age. It does exhibit somesigns of age/use/wear, including some minor stains (someof which *might*even clean up with a gentle but thorough cleaning, not sure), small minor scuff marks, etc. As to the fucntionality of the friction mechanism - it does not seem to work, but you can hear the friction motor inside clicking and whirring, but it will not propel the toy forward, so it would likely need some repair work. Aside from those points, this is just a fantastic and visually striking piece of vintage Disneyana and would surely make a treasured addition to a collection!]
