this decoy is in dry original paint with original glass eye, all the putty is gone & the head is a little loose. front tip of the tail to chest is approx. 15 1/2\" and overall length is approx. 17 1/2\". it\'s approx 5\" W & 6\" T. it has a good size age split on the underside that runs into the lower chest and some loose slivers of wood in the age crack (photo #10). has a 1\" long knot on left side of chest (photo #5) & a 3\" hair line crack on right side of chest (photo #6). has wear on bill (photo #10) & more wear on the tip of tail (photo #11). as for the decoy in general it has paint wear, flaking, dings, dents, rubs, dirt, staining and everything else associated with working decoys that are 100 years old. now for the good news, the decoy has never been messed with by a collector/dealer, i got it directly from the estate of the original duck hunter. there\'s a lot of the original paint left & has good paint pattern on the back, tail & sides. please study the photos before offerding, they should tell the story but if you have any questions please e-mail me. $25.00 shipping that includes any addition insurance. if its less i\'ll refund the difference. i usually start my items at $10.00 with , so go for it.
