Philco H-2010 Safari tube television antique TV old portable
This sale is for the vintage Safari TV you see in the picture. This TV came from a private collection where it has been sitting for over 30 years. The condition is good as you can see in the pictures. The battery compartment looks good. The only problem I see is there are 3 cracks in the top lid. Two of the cracks have been repaired but you can still see them. I did my best to photograph the cracks. Also the side trim just below one of the cracks has dents in it. Other than that this is a very nice example of this vintage portable TV. Due to the age of this item I have not tried to see if it works. It is sold as is untested, as a display item.

This week on I am selling several vintage tube and early transistor items. Due to the age of these units I cannot guarantee that they work, so they are all sold as is. I do not plug vintage electronics in until I have checked out all of the capacitors resistors, fuses and tubes. The reason I do not just plug these items in is many collectors like myself like the all original parts to be left in the unit undisturbed. Some collectors like to change any part that can go bad and power up the unit. So you see, selling these items as I find them is the best thing to do, so that the purest that collect all original units can have what they want. Thanks for looking
