Vintage Tinplate Clockwork Police Van, Wells. England. 1930s or 40s. AFA nice vintage tinplate clockwork Police Vanwith dark blue body with great lithographic detail on the sides and rear, white tin balloon tyres andbuilt-in key, made by the Wells Co. of England in the 1930’s or 40’s. The Police Van measures 6.75 inches long by 4 wideand 3 inches tall, and is in fair to good condition with surface rust and small dents in many places. Two of the wheels have quite a bit of rust, as have the mudguards, but it is on the surface and there are no holes or damage to the tin.
