We are listing for your consideration a lovely Vintage Wildfowler Factory Branded Carved Wood Brant Decoy. Referenced in the book Wildfowler Decoys Cowan and LaFontain, pg 143. This decoy is in Excellent Original Condition with some slight crazing to the paint. Very slight wear to wood.You can refer to the pictures, we guarantee 100% you will bemore than happy with the exceptional condition. The decoy measures 16 1/2" long x 7 3/4" tall x 5 7/8" wide, the shelf below the head is approximately 1 1/8" and the chine line is approximatey 2 1/2" from the bottom Thedecoy weighs approximately 1lb 15oz. Wonderful slight details with the original paint and great glass eyes. The decoy does not appear to have ever been used, if so it was used very little. The base is branded with the letters FSM, has handwritten in pencil Wildfowler and has the original leather strap with 2 small nails. A wonderful example of the highly desirable Wildfowler Factory, dating from the mid 1900's, this brant decoy would make a great addition to anyone's collection.
