This necklace is unique for its detailed setting, the deep red color of the glass and the condition of the necklace. It\'s possible that originally this necklace had dangles at the front, I\'ve seen other pieces with them, but it looks great without them regardless. The glass beads extend for the full length of the chain (the necklace unlatches at the back of the pendants) so the necklace has a lot of texture and visual interest. The glass cabs on the pendant are full and domed in shape jutting out from base of the setting. There is a very tiny chip at the edge of one of the glass cabs which is noticeable only upon close inspection. There are no other chips or surface wear to the glass and the glass is very fresh looking. The setting may have been all silvertone originally and has some wear and thinning with the brass showing underneath but the piece still has a very bright patina. Overall this is a finely designed and colorful, Art Deco glass necklace, that was made in Czechoslovakia during the 1920\'s - 30\'s and is in Excellent condition.
